When the doors on the high street closed in March 2020, we wanted to do something to keep those shops open virtually, so we created Virtual Farnham. Few of the independent shops had a website set up but many were still operating via facebook or taking telephone orders so our aim was to create a central place to still support their local shops through lockdown and beyond. The site was created and is maintained on a totally voluntary basis.
